Summary:Migration starting this evening, bzr disabled for now
Project:Site Admin

Unfortunately the forge keeps rebooting. I suspect that it cannot hold the usual "bot" traffic with the amount of memory it has or one of the hard drive is failing.

I have disabled the most memory consuming tasks so that the forge can remain stable for the next couple of days:
- no more bzr (10% of memory)
- no oasis-db and some other small web application (almost no traffic)

Depending on the situation, I may disable more services (next target: ssh) but I will try to keep the forge/planet web alive so that it doesn't disturb normal download operations (like OPAM downloads).

This morning I have reduced the TTL of the DNS entry for all forge hosts so that I can quickly migrate from one IP to the other -- however given the former version of the host file, the propagation may take a long time.

At one point this week, everything will be switched to read-only for a few hours and the forge may become unavailable.

Until further notice, you should expect problem. When I will consider the situation stable, I'll send a notice that we should be back to normal operation.
